Improving safety on the most hazardous roads for motorcyclists
Motorcycles account for 2% of traffic in Bedfordshire but 24% of casualties … Bedfordshire Highways are conducting safety studies of the worst roads in the county for motorcycle casualties, in order to plan improvements specifically for riders. Over the next 5 years they are planning to investigate the following routes: A6, A507, B530, A5120, A4012 and Bedford Town Centre.

They are currently inviting feedback from riders on the A6 between Bedford (A421 roundabout south of Bedford) and Luton (borough boundary).
